The Mohan-Boten Economic Cooperation Zone launched eight key projects on Dec 12, representing a significant milestone with an estimated total investment of 3.42 billion yuan($479.24 million).
Liu Shenshou, the deputy secretary of the Kunming Municipal Party Committee, graced the groundbreaking ceremony and officially initiated these pivotal projects.
Throughout the year, the Mohan-Boten Cooperation Zone has diligently propelled projects to expedite the development of the Mohan International Port City. Presently, a noteworthy 111 projects have received approval, and 72 key projects have been officially initiated, boasting a cumulative investment of 13.6 billion yuan.
The concerted efforts of the Mohan-Boten Cooperation Zone to attract investment have yielded substantial results, with 87 key projects materializing this year, amassing a total investment of 17.358 billion yuan.
Looking ahead, the Zone is poised to intensify its investment promotion endeavors, aiming to launch high-quality, long-chain industrial projects that will significantly contribute to the prosperity of border areas.
