The 22nd China Kunming International Flower Exhibition will grace the Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center this weekend.
The show, which will run from Sept 20 until Sept 22, is expected to draw over 30,000 participants, including wholesalers, florists, growers and flower e-commerce professionals from China and overseas.
Spanning more than 50,000 square meters, the exhibition will offer distinct sections dedicated to facilities, equipment, new flower varieties, floral culture, tourism and other flower application scenarios.
Attendees can expect a rich array of activities, such as expert seminars, product unveilings and technical exchanges. Open to the public, the show serves as a dynamic platform for enthusiasts and professionals to connect, collaborate and enrich the floral community.
A standout event is the Seminar on the Modernization of Floricultural Facilities and Equipment. The seminar will delve into the advancement of China's facility agriculture, the evolving trends in Yunnan's flower industry and the latest in greenhouse energy innovations. Key discussions will center on upgrading facilities and equipment to spur technological progress and enhance Yunnan's global competitiveness.
Complementing this, the International Plant Variety Protection Seminar-Floricultural Session will gather distinguished experts from organizations like the UK's Royal Horticultural Society and the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants. This seminar will tackle critical issues such as safeguarding breeders' rights and promoting new flower varieties, offering valuable perspectives for research institutions and enterprises.
