South Africa infrastructure minister envisions cooperation with China

The Second China-Indian Ocean Region Forum on Blue Economy Cooperation was held recently in Kunming. Sihle Zikalala, minister of Public Work and Infrastructure of South Africa, said in an interview during the event that the forum offered an opportunity for different countries to dive into issues concerning ocean health. China and South Africa can collaboratively build a relationship based on mutual respect and pragmatism. This partnership aims to foster economic and trade development between the two countries, strengthen cultural exchanges, and contribute to the realization of sustainable development goals, he said.
