The 2023 China International Travel Mart is being held from Nov 17-19 in Kunming. 

This year, Kunming witnessed strong growth momentum in its cultural and tourism industry. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, Kunming's A-level scenic spots (35 in total) received more than two million visitors, marking a remarkable year-on-year growth of 510 percent.

Kunming, renowned as the Spring City, has a temperate climate year-round which makes it a great place to visit. Every year from November to April, tens of thousands of black-headed gulls migrate long distances to Kunming for the winter. Scenic spots such as Green Park, Haigeng Dam, Daguan Pavilion, along the Panlong River, and the shores of Dianchi Lake are ideal places for observing and feeding wintering birds.
