Flying Tigers veterans visit Kunming

Jeffrey Greene, chairman of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation, Harry Moyer and Mel McMullen, veterans of the Flying Tigers — United States volunteer pilots who fought alongside China against Japanese aggression in World War II — visited Yunnan on Nov 6.

They were part of a delegation consisting of more than 30 members, primarily comprising Flying Tigers veterans and their family members.

During the 3-day visit, the delegation visited various places in Kunming, including the Kunming City Museum, the Kunming Flying Tigers Museum, the former site of the American Air Force Hospitality House for China Aid, and the former site of the Flying Tigers Kunming Airport.
