The Creative Kunming Hall, one of the halls of this year’s expo, was themed on Colorful Intangible Cultural Heritage: Inheriting and Innovating.

In the area of the Yunnan and Kunming Time-honored Brands Exhibition, many local representative time-honored brands and vintage items, including horse lanterns, house number plates, bicycles, old radios, and old TV sets, were on display, bringing visitors back to their childhood.

In the digital culture industry exhibition, native enterprises provided a panoramic platform for users to experience the latest high-end technology.

The province’s 18 counties (cities) and districts held a cultural feast of historical and cultural heritage for visitors. Numerous intangible cultural heritage items and traditional techniques combined with modern flavors were presented.

Themed on intangible cultural heritage, a new aesthetic space was designed for visitors to learn more than 10 intangible cultural heritage skills through a range of activities, including Yunnan mottled copper, Cloisonné enamel paintings, and Yunnan kites.

The Golden Camellia Cultural and Creative Exhibition, a brand created by the Kunming Cultural and Creative Association, showcased the region’s achievements in promoting the practical application and value transformation of copyrighted products, in recent years.
