The China-Southeast Asia Digital Art Exhibition held in Kunming

The China-Southeast Asia Digital Art Exhibition kicked off recently at the Yunnan Provincial Museum, in Kunming, showcasing more than 360 exhibits from over 40 Chinese and international artists. Among them, works by globally renowned Malaysian digital artist Zeen Chin (陈景辉) and the visual effects studio Mojing Tianhe, known for their contributions to the film "The Wandering Earth," were publicly displayed for the first time.

This exhibition is divided into sections and masterfully showcases the cutting-edge digital algorithm art and artificial intelligence (AI) art. The Yunnan Provincial Museum is also experimenting using digital technology to enhance the exhibition of its cultural relics collection.

Wan Fan, the dean of the School of Design at Yunnan Arts University, mentioned that this exhibition aims to demonstrate the effect of technology plus art. Participating artists come from various countries, including China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, and more. "Through exhibitions like this, we hope to promote Yunnan's art in South and Southeast Asia," Wan added.
