Economic Minister of the Embassy of Nepal in China confirms importance of China-South Asia Expo

The seventh China-South Asia Expo concluded on Sunday in Kunming, with 338 projects with a total investment of 404 billion yuan (about $56.1 billion) having been signed.

The five-day event attracted over 30,000 exhibitors as well as representatives and guests from 85 countries, regions and international organizations.

Since its inception in 2013, the expo has evolved into a crucial platform facilitating exchanges and cooperation among China, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

After attending various activities of the South Asia Expo, Chhabindra Parajuli, the Economic Minister of the Embassy of Nepal in China, took part in the opening ceremony of the China-Nepal Cultural Exchange Center (Kunming, Yunnan).

He said that China-South Asia Expo provides a platform that fosters economic trade, cultural exchange, and cooperation between China and countries in South Asia.
