Fu Shaoxue, deputy head of the strategic development department of Yuntianhua, said that the pilot rice farming project not only serves as a platform to showcase and assess the quality of Yuntianhua's products but also provides a tangible way to assist Burmese farmers in improving their fertilization practices and planting techniques.

Yuntianhua has taken action to facilitate the national Belt and Road Initiative by transferring China's agricultural technological advantages, aiding Myanmar in enhancing its level of agricultural modernization.

The attending farmers said that Yuntianhua has provided them with "products, technology, and education," which has greatly benefited them. Some fortunate farmers were also presented with Yuntianhua's environmentally-friendly green fertilizer DAP during the event.

The scientific team of Yuntianhua’s subsidiary in Myanmar made tailored fertilizer plans for the pilot rice field based on soil sampling and analysis in June. They also established detailed fertilization practices and management standards to maximize environmental protection and minimize fertilizer waste.

From 2018 to 2020, Yuntianhua collaborated with the Ministry of Agriculture of Myanmar to conduct demonstration trials on 720 acres of experimental fields in places like Mandalay and Naypyidaw. These trials covered various crops including cotton, corn, and rice. The company provided hands-on guidance to Burmese farmers on scientifically fertilizing their fields and offered comprehensive planting solutions, helping increase agricultural yields and income for Myanmar’s farmers.

Going forward, Yuntianhua will collaborate with the International Agricultural Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, relying on its two domestic subsidiaries, Yunnan Yuntianhua Co., Ltd. and Yuntianhua Menghai Manxiang Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., to provide comprehensive planting solutions for experimental fields in Myanmar. This collaborative effort aims to continuously enhance agricultural chemical services in Myanmar, promoting sustainable and green development in the country's agriculture sector.
