The opening ceremony of the Kunming Open was held at the Anning International Tennis Center on August 2. The event will run until August 13 and will feature International Tennis Federation (ITF) circuit tournaments, including men's and women's singles and doubles.
The tournament is jointly organized by the Chinese Tennis Association, the Yunnan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Kunming government. It has drawn the participation of over 200 players from more than 20 countries and regions.
