On July 18, Kunming Changshui International Airport's S1 Satellite Terminal was officially put into operation. With the introduction of the satellite terminal, the airport has added 38 additional apron stands with jet bridges and 42 boarding gates, ensuring an average of around 100 flight arrivals and departures per day. This expansion significantly enhances the airport's aircraft parking capacity and improves the convenience and efficiency of passenger boarding. Travelers can now enjoy a more seamless and expedited experience when flying from the airport.
