On April 28, Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province, released its indicative price for spring tea picked in local main rural production areas at the opening ceremony of the 7th Kunming (International) Spring Tea Week in 2023 under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
The city also unveiled the new annual products of tea manufacturers, invited attendees to appreciate the top 10 tea products, selected the top 10 tea commodities, and organized local tea companies to exhibit their leading products.
Figures show that the price of some spring tea brands now exceeds over 50,000 yuan ($ 7,233.7) per kilogram.
The Kunming (International) Spring Tea Week has successfully caught the attention of global tea enthusiasts.
