This year, Kunming is looking to plant 11.82 million trees and launch online activities such as the "Kunming Voluntary Tree Planting Network", so that the public can participate in voluntary tree planting.
This year, 45 native tree species such as Yunnan Pine, Yunnan Glauca, Huashan Pine and Yunnan Catalpa will be planted in different areas, and more than 3,500 mu lands will be voluntarily planted in 16 plots. Moreover, 3.78 million people are encouraged to participate in the nationwide voluntary tree planting activity.
