Yunnan Cancer Hospital (the Third Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University) organized a voluntary blood donation activity recently.
Data showed that 533 employees from Yunnan Cancer Hospital donated 125,500 milliliters of blood at the event.
Huang Yunchao, president of Yunnan Cancer Hospital, said that the hospital has always attached great importance to the management of clinical blood transfusions, made persistent efforts in further raising the efficiency of clinical blood utilization, and organized its faculty members to attend voluntary blood donations on a regular basis in a drive to mitigate the seasonal shortage of blood and ensure the sufficient supply of clinical blood.
