Kunming’s Anning listed in China’s top 100 counties

Kunming’s Anning city ranks 89th in the latest Research Report on Competitiveness of China’s Top 100 counties in 2022. Data was released by market research firm CCID Consulting.

The report covered 1,870 county level administrative regions in China. Anning is the only county in Yunnan to make the list.

The achievements by Anning can’t be separated from its efforts to deepen reforms, streamline administration and optimize services while fostering a world-class business environment.

Good investment environment makes Anning ripe for development. In the first 10 months, the city saw its fixed asset investments increase by 16.9 percent year-on-year. The total output value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 27.5 percent year-on-year, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods was 14.34 billion yuan, a rise of 5.1 percent year-on-year.
