At a total length of 629 meters, the Qinglongshan Tunnel of the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway was completed on Dec 1, marking substantial progress in the construction of the railway. Located in Chenggong district, Kunming, the tunnel, with a single-hole and double tracks, is the "throat" tunnel for the railway to enter Kunming.
Once the whole line is completed and opened, it will traverse Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing and other provinces and cities, which will promote the high-quality development of the regional economy and boost rural vitalization.
