Kunming's GDP reaches 376.97 billion yuan in the first half of 2022

From January to June, Kunming's GDP has reached 376.97 billion yuan (about $56.65 billion), registering an increase of 1.3%.

In the first half of this year, Kunming has been firmly sticking to the concept of "establishing projects" and made every effort to expand investments, so as to promote all aspects of projects construction from planning to completion.

With the construction of a large number of industrial projects, the investment structure of Kunming has been significantly optimized. In the first half of 2022, the city's fixed asset investment was 174.94 billion yuan, of which non-real estate investment was 91.61 billion yuan with an increase of 42.2%, accounting for 52.4% of fixed asset investment. Industrial investment was 25.61 billion yuan with an increase of 43.3%, accounting for 14.6% of fixed assets investment or an increase of 3.2%.

During the period, Kunming achieved remarkable results in attracting investments. It has introduced 134.6 billion yuan of funds from other areas with an increase of 46.67%, and has completed 58.52% of the annual target of 230 billion yuan.

Additionally, tourism income has achieved attractive results. It is reported that from January to July this year, it has received 128 million tourists, with total tourism revenue reported at 148.9 billion yuan.
