China International Travel Mart kicks off in Kunming

The China International Travel Mart kicked off Friday in Kunming, Yunnan province, after a hiatus of one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the theme "Intelligent Innovation Towards the Future: For the High-Quality Development of Tourism".

The three-day travel mart covered an area of about 80,000 square meters, and 71 countries and regions took part in the exhibition online or offline.

A series of industrial communication activities were held during the exhibition, focusing on smart and innovative development of tourism sector, international tourism cooperation under the RCEP mechanism as well as pushing forward the overall recovery of China's tourism market.
