Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, is building an archaeological experience center which is envisioned to be the largest in China after completion.
It’s just right that the largest archaeological experience center is being built in Yunnan, home to 14,704 cultural heritage sites and 780,000 pieces of cultural relics.
The experience center is the upshot of the province’s efforts to advance the digital development of museums to enhance visitors’ interactive experience. At present, exhibits of the province’s 131 museums are available online.
In recent years, Yunnan has been increasing attention toward protecting cultural relics, with a special fund of 914 million yuan ($142 million) allocated for its preservation.
