6th Kunming spring tea week launches

The 6th Kunming spring tea week kicked off in the capital of the Southwest China’s Yunnan province on Tuesday.

The fair aims to connect Yunnan’s 97 tea counties with their international counterparts.

Its agenda includes publishing the prices of spring tea produced in the province's  99 mountains, tea tasting, talks between ceramics and tea masters, demonstrations of rural vitalization products and more.

The output value of the tea industry in Yunnan is expected to hit 200 billion yuan($31.19 billion) by 2025.
