Yunnan Arts University, set up in 1959, is a comprehensive arts university with distinctive characteristics.
The university covers 53.33 hectares and has 12,071 students, with 740 being postgraduates. It employs 694 staff members, 21 of whom hold doctoral degrees.
The university has 38 undergraduate majors covering arts, literature, management and engineering and is qualified to enroll overseas students.
Since its establishment, it has cultivated many talents in the arts and has contributed greatly to the development of ethnic culture in Yunnan province.
